band nerds are awsome!

that's right band nerds are awsome. although if we had an orchestra that would be really cool too. we started summer band today and i got to see some friends i haven't all summer or maybe just a few times. our marching show is supposed to be Dance Dance Revolution themed. i don't think the idea of it sounds all that great but the is cool. we're playing some kind of Irish, European, jig type thing and then an Elvis tune, then Sing, Sing, Sing and then finally Sweet Home Alabama. i used to like that song but now for what ever reason they decided to start overplaying it at dances and radio stuff. so it pretty much ruined it. we have music to We're an American Band which is a really cool song. i don't think we'll play it though because so far we haven't been able to play but i've only played it once. i really like our show last year and we could have at least been it the top 5 at state had it not been for that stupid nascar guy. we were doing our show at a high school and there was a lowes across the street and there just so happened to be a nascar there doing a demo thing and it basicly covered up our sound and that made it so that the jugdes couldn't see if we were on time or not. i personally couldn't hear it because i was concentrating on my steps. the judges offered us a redo but for what ever reason Dr. G didn't accept. anyways everyone was were really bumbed and cryed and stuff but to me it wasn't really all that important except for the fact that springtown was trying to get us to not go to state. then they barely beat us and at state they came in last so in your face springtown. In my best John Cleese voice "and now for something completly different a man with 2 buttox" as i told in my last post i got my truck all back together and it won't start so i checked the igniter in the coil and when i did it, it showed it was bad but when dad did it, it showed that it was good so i can't use a multimeter very well and i need something in the distributer or a new distributer. hopefully after that i wont' have to do anything to my truck. i like working on things but it's sooo inconvinient to not be able to drive. also i hope the packet that certifies dad as a teacher for drivers ed will come soon so i can actually drive. well my arms hurt so another post at another time.

She's DONE !!!!!

i've been working on my truck for the past 3 days and my back hurts. i've been sitting on my butt legs spread out and leaning forward for basicly maybe a little less than 20 or 18 hours. so my back hurts and i'm really sore and stuff. i had grease from my steering knuckles leaking a lot and it got on the back side of my brakes so i figured i'd better fix it while i could. i got one side of the thing all done and then i realized i had forgotten to put something on so i took it like half way apart and put the thing on. then i came in for the day because we had mutual and claire and maren said i smelled really bad. i guess grease, oil, and sweat don't create the best smell but i got used to it. so i went ice skating for mutual and i thought about wearing my hiking socks but i decided to wear some not so good socks so my feet hurt too. and for some reason my left big toe is slightly numb or asleep or something it feels weird. anyways i woke up this morning and went straight to work. realizing that i had once again forgotten something again so i took apart the side i had just taken apart 3 time and put it back together again. then i moved all the neccesary tools over to the other side of the truck and started on that. thankfully it went much smoother. of course i lost some things and can't actually drive it yet and i need an ignition wire but once i get those things she'll be good as new. also i still think i should name her but i can't think of anything good. and i still need to do my To Kill a Mockingbird thing.

Boredom is very boring!!!!!

here's some pictures i made on Microsoft Paint in the accesory toolbar thing. i get very bored on fridays.
this is my truck the TOYOTA HOLY MOBILE it goes around reaking havock to bring the wicked to repentance. i have a different pic of it that my friend drew that looks better but i can't find it right now.this is me on fridays when my parents go out on their "date". they leave for hours going out to eat and whatnot and i get to be incredibly bored along with maren. if you can't tell i died of boredom in the chair.
these are really good i'm not supposed to eat them but hey who cares if my braces fall off i'm not paying for them! LOL
this is a video of a show called top gear. it tests cars and stuff like that. this is a 1985 toyota hilux (same thing and a truck or pre-tacoma) it's a diesel so my truck couldn't survive some of the stuff but it's still just as durable. the sound is a bit messed up at the end.

ummmmmm.........BOO

hey guys,

well i went to the DPS to get my learners permit yesterday and appearently i need a packet from austin for my instruction to be legal so now i get to wait for weeks untill i can actually start again and go back to the DPS. also i'm redoing the steering knuckle seals and wheel bearings on my truck because grease was leaking all over the back off my brake rotors which is never good. so i get to wait until the 25th or 26th to do all that. and my dad has a 40s indian chief motorcycle that i think our scout troup is going to rebuild with him. we've had it forever and he hasn't ever started to rebuild it. so we're going to help him. i still need to do a theme statement for To Kill a Mockingbird so Michelle (cough) wink wink, nudge nudge, eh eh. i'm almost finished reading it i'm at the part where Scout's friend who's name i forgot ran out of the trial of Tom Robinson because the prosecuter was "bein mean to Tom". and i only have like a month untill school starts. although i have band camp from the last week in July to when school starts. we have like 3 band parties between now and then though. heres a picture of the engine in my truck. look how spacious it is with out air condition, fuel injection and power steering.

back from youth conference

hey all,

well i'm back from YC and it was ok. i was mainly hangin around a certain friend o' mine. we had a choice of a bunch of different service projects and i chose to chop down and move a mesquite tree. i didn't get a thorn but the bark certainly scratch my arm. and we cleaned up the persons yard too. in doing so i was stung by a wasp while trying to move a metal table top thing. we had leaned it away from the house and i was about to pick it up when a thought came to me saying check for wasps so i did. as soon as i put my head over the table thing i saw a nest and then proceded to get stung on the nose. only one came after me which seemed kind of odd but i'm not complaining. we then drug the table out to the road and one of the guys ran inside the house and got a bottle of spray deoderant and matches. i asked if i could do it to exact my revenge but he already sprayed it and lit it. we then stomped on it. my nose kinda hurt for a while but i was fine. there were a lot of nice, pretty girls including the one i was hanging out with most of the time. a lot of them seemed to be in cleburne, weatherford, or some other wards. i'm thinking about going to EFY at some point next year. everyone who goes seems to love it. i wish we were somewhere cool like denver so we could go have conference in the mountains like emily or at least do something cool. after the service projects we went to burgers lake and it was ok. it was really small and crowded full of scantily clad women and men which was really scary. you don't want to see a grown man in a speedo trust me. but it wasn't as bad as Schliterbahn. we went there 2 years ago durig our scout trip to the gulf for deep sea fishing. my favorite line from that trip was by a friend of mine. we had just barely gotten there and were trying to decide what we should do there. and Ryan said, " We don't ride the rides" what he meant was that you can't ride the rides because you're standing in line the whole time but it was funny the way he said it. anyways i got my drivers ed course while at YC and started that today. surprisingly you only have to have 6 hours of classroom time for your permit so in about a week hopefully i can be driving assuming i can get a ignition/coil for my truck. mine recently died. anyways i'll talk to you guys later.

i'm FREE

i have finally broken the bonds of seminary and enabled myself to begin my home taught driver's ed! HOORAY. for those who don't know we did home study this year and i was really behind on my work and so i finally got it all finished and our deal was that when i finished i would get to start drivers ed. so my dad called our insurance to see what program would give us a discount and they said anything would do. so hopefully i can start as soon as we get the program. i shall soon be a menace to the road and whatnot. actually i think i'm a pretty good driver so far. in between the driving in the field and on a few roads and parking lots. so that's my big news for today. Well This is Really Annoying

well this is really annoying. i can't get a title thing up so i can title my stuff.

(in my best John Cleese voice) and now for something comepletly different. i finaly shaved and i must ask a question once asked by the great Timm. beard or no beard personally i would go with the beard or at least some facial hair. this pic is after only 2 weeks of growing.
this was taken just outside my house infront of some trees. just before i went to take a shower and shave. my beard is not like most. it's only like my dad's and his best friend Rich's. one part is brown and then the chin or other places are red and when the sun or any light hits it just right the whole thing is red. of course thier beards are white and longer except for Rich's because he has somekind of a thing that makes him loose his hair in little patches and it's not just balding. anyways heres the after pic. personaly i like the pic with the beard better but hey that's just my opinion. here's a cool picture of one of my first cousins once removed Miles (correct me if i'm wrong i can't remember what Aunt Denise said)

we found a sand shark or some kind of a shark on the beach and it took some coaxing to get miles to hold it even though it was dead and the whole trip all he wanted to do was pick up fish and crabs and all kinds of stuff. well i'm tired of typing and having my images take 10 minutes to load so till another time adiue however you spell that (michelle help me out) oh and i just remembered today that i'm going to start taking spanish next year.

Devil's Right Hand

"The Devil's Right Hand "

yeah so i'm yurning for this gun. it's a Ruger M77 MK2 all weath
er. i saw it at a gun show in June and it was awsome. It already had a leupold Scope i don't know the magnification but it was a good scope. and it's a very well reveiwed gun. it has a cool 3 point safety thing. you can have it on full safety half safety in which you can open the bolt and eject or insert shells while having the trigger locked and you can have it on fire. also it has a very well thought of one peice bolt. it is said to be able to handle up to some of the most power cartriges known to mankind. and the scope mounts are fixed into position so that the only possible thing that can move is the actual scope rings that hold the scope to the scope mounts on the gun. unfortunatly it costs about 700$ although the one i saw at the show was asking 650$ for it with the scope and sling and all sorts of nice things already on it. anyways heres a pic of me. well i have to go so adios

hey guys,

my first post here but i've got a blog on xanga too. umm.. i done just back from Charleston, SC and it was crazy awsome. although i feel sorry for all my relatives because they have to drive for like 5 hours then fly from NC to colorado or Dallas and then some of them go to Utah and then drive for an hour and they have to do it all with babies and lots of stuff. while we drove to the airport at 5 in the morning (4 central) and left the airport at like 7:40 and got home at 9:40 so we basicly flew for 2 hours and were home. but anyways we had a lot of fun in Charleston. we were going to go to the USS Yorktown and Ft. Sumter but for whatever odd reason we never did. my 2nd cousin i think (he's my cousin's son) really wanted to but we never did. i got a fishing pole and got to carry it with me in my carry on backpack and it looked like a giant antae thing like one of those military communication pack things only it has eylets. also i got to go scuba diving with a really cool uncle of cousin in law who i've only known for a week but hey he's a cool guy. hopefully i can find the pics of colorado i took and scan them in and post them and i've got some pics of my truck in the picture library thing up at the top. the water pump on my truck finaly went out at like 182,519 miles and i replaced it all in about 4 hours not counting time it took to get parts and stuff like that otherwise it would be like 5 hours. but i love my truck because of it's simplicity so that when i need to work on it, it is really easy because it has no air-conditioning or power steering.
