the importance of being legal and earnest... i quess

well i'm finally leagally able to drive in texas. i got my permit today and ian and susanna came home for a bit. i got to drive to a dumb band thing. i only went because i got to drive. i had to listen to dr. grant for 2 hours just so we could play at a teacher orientation deally for 5 minutes. mom was really nervous but she said i did pretty good. i think i did excelent for the first time driving on a real road with a lot of traffic. hopefully i can get my truck back from the guy we lent it to soon so i can actually drive it and drive it well. i can get my license on valentines day next year which really doesn't seem all that far away. school starts on wednesday and i still have to write my theme statement on To Kill a Mockingbird. well i have to assist with dinner and go drive some more.

Jet Skiing is fun!

i went jet skiing (however you spell that) yesterday and it was fun. i'm really sore and a little sunburned but it was worth the 5 and a half hours we did. the person who invited me throws anyone who rides with him off. fortunatly i didn't. he tries to do 360 degree turns and all sorts of other tricks. we brought an innertube deally with us and he went around in a circle for a while and almost threw us out. i decided i would show him what it was like. i took them around and when i actually got it going i actually threw them out because someone was doing something not right. i was going along already straightend out and i felt it get really light, i looked back and everyone was in the water and the tube was flying. anyways i'm going to be an uncle finally YAY! Ian and Susana are having a relativly unplanned baby. they were going to wait untill they were out of school and were settled in but i guess this little guy really wanted to come to earth. i have to go to my first funeral today so that's not that great and then i might start fixing dad's old landcruiser. it has an exhaust leak and needs the steering knuckles rebuilt just like mine. i got the drivers ed packet deally so on monday i might have my permit! we're going jetskiing on wednesday. another thing why do people spell wednesday like that? well i can't think of anything else so bye.

she's alive finally

i finally got my truck actually running while my parents were gone. the one part i needed came and i put it in and it still wouldn't start so i messed around with the distributer and found that i there is a special way to put it in and i did that along with some other stuff and it ran. now all i need is more gas and i can drive yet again! i actually drove home in it after meeting a pizza guy at a gas station. we ordered a pizza and they called back saying that they don't deliver this far but they have a drop off point. it was almost like a shady drug exchange because i was just sitting in the parking lot of a truck depot with my fog lights on waiting for the guy then jack said we should go look around the gas station across the street. when the person said where we were supposed to meet, he said something weird that i didn't recognize but the lady i talked to previously said at the corner of 730 and Veal Station so i assumed it was the truck depot. but it was appearently the gas station. so i got to drive home on a dark country road that doesnt't have the lanes marked and have only driven on that road once, at dusk and not for very long and on a busy highway that wasn't so busy at the time and i only had to go about 150 ft till i had to turn. anyways mom and dad are back and i was hoping that i would have a bunch of email or more people had blogged or something to keep me interested but no.
