the importance of being legal and earnest... i quess
well i'm finally leagally able to drive in texas. i got my permit today and ian and susanna came home for a bit. i got to drive to a dumb band thing. i only went because i got to drive. i had to listen to dr. grant for 2 hours just so we could play at a teacher orientation deally for 5 minutes. mom was really nervous but she said i did pretty good. i think i did excelent for the first time driving on a real road with a lot of traffic. hopefully i can get my truck back from the guy we lent it to soon so i can actually drive it and drive it well. i can get my license on valentines day next year which really doesn't seem all that far away. school starts on wednesday and i still have to write my theme statement on To Kill a Mockingbird. well i have to assist with dinner and go drive some more.

To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books!
Good luck on the whole driving thing. Emily is in the learning process and there's nothing but experience to learn how to drive....

Yeah the whole learning how to drive thing can always be a little scary for those riding along! It's really weird for me that Emily is driving--it's scary too!

How do you you get off with getting your license so soon! I got my permit in March this year, and I have to wait until this next March to finally be able to drive by myself. I hate Colorado laws, and I just want to get my license :|
