hey guys,

my first post here but i've got a blog on xanga too. umm.. i done just back from Charleston, SC and it was crazy awsome. although i feel sorry for all my relatives because they have to drive for like 5 hours then fly from NC to colorado or Dallas and then some of them go to Utah and then drive for an hour and they have to do it all with babies and lots of stuff. while we drove to the airport at 5 in the morning (4 central) and left the airport at like 7:40 and got home at 9:40 so we basicly flew for 2 hours and were home. but anyways we had a lot of fun in Charleston. we were going to go to the USS Yorktown and Ft. Sumter but for whatever odd reason we never did. my 2nd cousin i think (he's my cousin's son) really wanted to but we never did. i got a fishing pole and got to carry it with me in my carry on backpack and it looked like a giant antae thing like one of those military communication pack things only it has eylets. also i got to go scuba diving with a really cool uncle of cousin in law who i've only known for a week but hey he's a cool guy. hopefully i can find the pics of colorado i took and scan them in and post them and i've got some pics of my truck in the picture library thing up at the top. the water pump on my truck finaly went out at like 182,519 miles and i replaced it all in about 4 hours not counting time it took to get parts and stuff like that otherwise it would be like 5 hours. but i love my truck because of it's simplicity so that when i need to work on it, it is really easy because it has no air-conditioning or power steering.

Hey Ross, it's "Aunt Denise!" I confess I was envious of your relatively quick trip home, and I wasn't even traveling with a baby. I didn't get home until about 10:30p.m., due in part to the airline sending my luggage home on a different flight than the one I was on (and neglecting to tell me). Charleston was SOOoooo fun and well worth the hassle of getting there.

BTW, Max would be your first cousin once removed. Your children (when you have them, that is) will be Max's second cousins.

So glad I got to meet you, finally! Charleston was so fun it was worth the two hellish days of travel. Max was disappointed that he didn't get to see Fort Sumter, but I guess it was more hassle than anyone really wanted to deal with. I can't imagine loving any vehicle that didn't have air-conditioning...
